Welcome to our very first blog post! The goal of this space is simple — to keep you up to date on what’s happening at The Dojo and to share some helpful tips and fun stories along the way.

I’ll be honest: I haven’t done the best job keeping everyone in the loop lately. This blog is my way of changing that. I hope you’ll find these updates useful, lighthearted, and worth checking out whenever you want to see what we’re up to.

Class Picture Day — Monday, October 20th

We’re so excited to announce our Class Picture Day!

Our friend Michele Taylor from Michele Taylor Photography will be here snapping professional portraits of all the pups. The backdrop will be a 1990s-style laser party theme — if you know, you know.

Every dog in attendance will get their photo taken. Afterward, you’ll receive a link to your pup’s private online gallery. There’s absolutely no pressure to buy, but if you’d like to order prints or downloads, The Dojo will cover part of the cost with either a 25% discount or a $35 credit—whichever helps you more.

Halloween Costume Hat Drawing

It’s that time again — our annual Dojo Halloween celebration!

This year, instead of a voting contest, we’re keeping things simple and fun with a hat drawing giveaway.

To participate, send us a photo of your dog in costume (and a short description) to anita@thedoggydojo.com. Once your photo is received, we’ll add your pup’s name into our drawing and post your entry to our Instagram page (@doggydojoinc). We’ll randomly select the winners and announce them on Halloween, October 31.

Prizes

1st Place: $100 Dojo account credit, a complimentary Premium Bath, and a Dojo Swag Bag.

2nd & 3rd Place: $25 Dojo account credit, a complimentary Standard Bath, and Dojo Swag Bags.

All Participants: Receive a Dojo Poop Bag Dispenser and Mini Dojo Tote Bag.

Celebrating 15 Years

This month marks 15 years of The Doggy Dojo. Honestly, it’s hard to put into words how grateful I am for all the love, support, and trust you’ve shown us over the years.

From the bottom of my heart — thank you for being part of our Dojo Family. We can’t wait to see what the next 15 years bring.
