Hello, Friends. This year we’d like to help fight hunger in the community by hosting our very first (of hopefully many) Dojo Food Drive. We know that hunger is a global issue, but we have to start somewhere, right? If a lot of people give a little, it’ll make a huge impact. The picture on [...]Read More
This popular and ever-so-sweet breed is no stranger at the Dojo. Our regular pack includes four Golden Retrievers, two Golden Doodles and more than four other mixes. When they all get together, it makes for one pretty picture.Read More
Jeter, the affable corgi, took home first prize at the 2011 Dojo Halloween costume contest. The judges were wowed at the resemblance between this “Pawtter” and the real teen wizard. Congratulations to Jeter and thanks to all the doggies that participated in their year’s contest! Vist our Facebook page to see all entries in both [...]Read More
The steamy summer temps don’t stop the fun at the Dojo. In addition to making sure each pup stays hydrated, we watch them closely for any signs of exhaustion. When the heat turns up in Chicago, we turn on the hoses and top off the kiddie pool. The doggies stay cool and have a fantastic [...]Read More
While their owners entertained guests or traveled out of town, these pups had a terrific time hanging with Oscar and Carlos and their pals at the Dojo. We offer overnight boarding for just $40/night ($10 for each additional dog). Ask us about Christmas availability!Read More
The Doggy Dojo was established in 2010 by Oscar Cruz and Carlos Zambrano, lifelong friends who share a passion for animals. The Dojo is a place where dogs of all sizes and breeds from around Chicago come to play and socialize in a safe, clean, and comfortable environment. We keep our prices low to ensure that dogs from all types of homes can get in on the fun.
Dogs have plenty of room to romp in our 5,000 square feet of indoor space, complete with two separate play areas (for small and large doggies), plenty of natural light, and a recycled rubber floor. Our fenced outdoor space is more than 1,000 square feet and its water hoses and kiddie pools make it a popular summertime hangout. At the Dojo, we actively engage your dog in play and supervise them at all times.
If you’re interested in our services, please contact us. To begin daycare, we’ll have to first set up an appointment to meet you and your doggy in person. We’ll also also need two sets of keys to your home (if you are requesting pick-up and drop-off services or dog walking), and a copy of your pet’s vet records ensuring he/she is current on all routine shots.
